An engine we have known for several years and one that we sold last year to a customer who has now up graded. A 4 1/2" scale Burrell to the well known Plastow design that has been meticulously maintained over the years. Originally built in 1977, the engine received a new Franklin & Bell boiler in December 1996. There is a very comprehensive historical record of this engine including a photograph of it when it was first completed and a number of photos at early rallies. In its early life the engine was towed behind a Riley Pathfinder - its transport trailer was then used as a passenger carrying trailer with seating for 10! The current boiler test includes a very favourable report stating all the plate thicknesses etc.
