We have taken in his rather nicely built Foden "C" type wagon.It is apparently one of only 3 in the country in this size from a Lou Rex design. Twin cylinder high speed engine with Stephenson valve gear. Franklin & Bell boiler built 1997 and the wagon completed some time later. This is a 3 speed model and from experience in high gear these Fodens are feindishly fast on the road! Ackerman steering and the rubber tyred wheels along with the leaf springing front and rear make for a comfortable ride. Two water tanks and boiler feed is by injector and water pump. Nicely built dropside wagon body and good paintwork makes this an impressive looking wagon. Nice finishing touches include working Miller headlamps and old style rear lamps very much in keeping with the wagon. Road registered and ready for use.
