Asking Price SOLD

A charming Austin Seven which is full of character and ready to enjoy!

Included in the sale is a photo album of the restoration which looks to have been carried out in the 1980s. It looks as if it was a total rebuild but the car today shows evidence that the rebuild was sympathetic meaning it retains many original features and quirks as expected of a car of this age. Looking over the Austin, it is evidently an earlier restoration which is showing its age in the paint in places (as in the photos). We cannot see any cause for concern, and it looks as if the patina developed is superficial and down to it being nearly 40 years since the restoration!

It runs wonderfully and revs nicely. It starts reliably with a little choke and drives well. It is clearly a classic car so we expect some character in the drive, but everything seems as it should be with the gear change, brakes and running gear. The diminutive 750cc engine provides the power expected from this 1930s classic British-made car.

Based at our premises, prospective buyers would be more than welcome to inspect this wonderful car at their leisure. Please contact us to find out more or if you wish to book in a viewing.
