A throwback to the 80s with this one! Offered for sale is an honest example of the Honda CD200 ‘Benly’ in good working order. It could be left and enjoyed as it is (the paintwork isn’t the best although looks to be largely original!) or restored cosmetically to make it a top example. 

It rides nicely though the four-speed gearbox and idles well. It can be started on both the kickstart or the electric start and, being such a small bike, it is manageable by either the novice rider or the seasoned expert looking for something a bit lighter!

The 12v electric systems looks be in good working order and it has recently had a new carburettor to improve the running. It is one of those honest examples which demonstrates room for improvement, but which can be thoroughly enjoyed as it is!

A previous owner made a few aftermarket additions, including the ornate bird head on the front mudguard, all adding to the story of this 80s classic! It benefits from being eligible from historic vehicle status meaning it is both MOT and tax exempt (making for cheap motorcycling!). Having said that, the most recent MOT only expired in September 2022 and it has been kept up to date in recent years.
