The pride of the Berrybrook fleet, our MAN tractor unit and King Stepframe Low Loader combination makes easy work of moving the largest vehicles we work with! Perfect for up to two traction engines (weight and height limitations apply), our lorry bears a distinctive livery which has been photographed up and down the country (and beyond) collecting and delivering engines for both sales and events.
Our Low Loader is part of what makes selling your engine through Berrybrook Steam & Classics so simplistic. We make light work of collecting it from your place, transporting it to our storage facility near Exeter and advertising it for sale. We are then in a strong position to deal with viewings and the final handover without you needing to get involved any more than you choose to!
We don’t pretend to be the cheapest hauliers going as most trips are bespoke. Lighter Loads
Whilst the MAN is regularly on the road, it is considered an overkill for some of the smaller steam engines, motorcycles and cars we also move on a regular basis!
For this purpose, we have a range of vehicles including our Ford Transit recovery van, which has been seen moving countless vehicles all over the country. Our drivers are no strangers to trips to the furthest reaches of the UK and beyond in our never-ending quest to find new, interesting stock for our customers and for delivering to delighted customers following the conclusion of a sale. We have combinations of trailers and other vehicles which allow us to be flexible in our collections meaning nothing is too much hassle.

Covered Transport
The latest addition to our fleet is a superb Brian James race trailer which is perfect for moving the more delicate and high value vehicles we are involved in selling and moving. From steam cars to Morgans, our covered transport option ensures your pride and joy arrives in the best condition possible after being faced with the spray on Britain’s motorways! It is not a standard part of all deliveries but, if you would like covered transport to be considered for your vehicle, please mention it when talking to the team.
