A superb 500cc Manx Norton, offered for sale on behalf of the team manager for the McIntyre Collection. A non-matching frame and engine, the story of this stunning motorcycle links back to the pioneering and resourcful bike building tactics of the 1950s and Bob McIntyre’s desire to race the best possible.
An iconic piece of motorcycling history, this Norton has been carefully assembled from its constituent parts and demonstrated at a few large events in recent years. The frame was very successful in its day, winning the F1 TT in 1959. It currently remains a part the McIntyre collection and is offered for sale exclusively by Berrybrook Steam & Classics on behalf of the collection.
