An honest, well-presented example of the Velocette Venom 500cc.
Listed with two registered keepers from new, the current owner bought this motorcycle in 1993 from the original owner. Included in the paperwork is a selection of MOT certificates and Tax Discs from the 1990s, including the 1992 MOT showing a mileage of 7 miles – we presume a new speedo was fitted around this time but we are not certain. The present mileage of 1,157 is therefore since c. 1992. It has clearly had work work over the years but is an honest example.
The wheels have been changed however the original wheels, as well as more extras, are included in the sale. It would benefit from a new 6v battery and pair of tyres but otherwise starts very nicely and drives well. The exhaust gives the engine a fantastic note when riding!
Overall, a great motorcycle and available for viewings at our showroom near Exeter.
