GWR Railway Luggage Wagon of c. 1900

Model Type Luggage Wagon
Age Unknown, assumed early 20th century
Builder Unknown
Condition Restored Condition (primer paint only)
Asking Price £4,995

Currently offered for sale on behalf of the owner is this original, recently restored GWR Railway Luggage Wagon.

Believed to be from Bovey Tracey, Devon (just up the road from us!) this horse drawn wagon was used around the turn of the century to transport passengers’ luggage to their homes.

The wagon has artillery wheels, a seat for the driver and a hand brake that works with rods to the drum brakes. It has been protected with primer but hasn’t been totally finished.

It would be ideal for hauling behind a suitable steam engine or similar!

Asking Price – £4,995

We always encourage prospective buyers to view vehicles and steam engines in person prior to purchase. This engine is advertised for sale by Berrybrook Steam & Classics on behalf of the owner and seller.

For more information, please speak to Matt on 01392 833301 or email [email protected]

As with all our vehicles listed for sale, we strongly recommend viewing in person. Appointments are essential so ensure you book before travelling to us for a viewing. This Wagon is located close to our premises near Exeter, Devon.

Please ask about our flexible part-exchange options. Delivery can be arranged to anywhere in the UK, and beyond, at buyer’s expense.

Please note, this listing is for the sale of the horse drawn wagon only – the more modern road trailer in the photographs is not included in the sale.
