Offered for sale on behalf a customer, we have here a virtually finished compound engine.
Understood to be built to the design and castings by model engineer Ken Woodham and one of very few in existence. The same design of engine is known to be fitted to one launch, a 28ft launch called ‘Hussar’ on the Thames.
A fine example which doesn’t look to have been used before. There is a little fettling to do to finish it before fitting it to a launch but the heavy work is completed, and it makes for a very pretty engine!
