Miniature Road Steam

Offered for sale is a well-built example of the popular miniature from Steam Traction World. The single crank compound gives owners the chance to operate an engine which is a little elevated above the standard single cylinder without running a fully-fledged compound road locomotive!

Key Features:

• Steel boiler commercially made by Steam Traction World. The current boiler report is from the present owner’s model engineering club. As usual, we plan on including a new, commercial boiler inspection at point of sale. Please speak to us about your boiler testing options.
• Two-speed, single crank compound cylinder arrangement. Slide valve actuated by Stephenson’s linkage.
• Mechanical water pump and injector fitted for filling the boiler when in steam, as standard. 
• Upgraded mechanical lubricator, steam whistle and pressure release valves. It is also fitted with dummy governors.
• Please note, the photos show a couple of fittings missing – these are all present and will, of course, be fitted prior to viewing.
• Mechanically, the engine has been built to a high standard using the high-quality kits from well-known supplier, Steam Traction World.
• Cosmetically, it is painted in an appealing livery. The paintwork is good with high quality signwriting.
• It is fitted with rubber tyres and is registered for use on the road with a 24 plate.

Overall, a nicely presented miniature which has been assembled and finished to a high standard.
